Anti-Cyclin F Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets human Cyclin F (CCNF), a non-canonical cyclin that serves as the substrate-recruiting subunit of the SCF (Skp1–Cul1–F-box) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. Unlike classical cyclins, Cyclin F does not activate a CDK; instead, it delivers replication licensing factors and centrosomal proteins to the ubiquitin-proteasome system for turnover, coupling genome stability and mitotic fidelity to controlled proteolysis. Mutations in CCNF have been linked to disrupted protein homeostasis in motor neurons and are studied in the context of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and frontotemporal dementia.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, supporting detection of endogenous Cyclin F in whole-cell lysates and fixed tissue sections.
