Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent was raised against the human C-X-C chemokine receptor type 2 (CXCR2), a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor that mediates neutrophil chemotaxis toward ELR-positive CXC chemokines such as CXCL8 (IL-8), CXCL1 (GRO-α), and CXCL2. It is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum and is validated for Western blot detection of CXCR2 in human cell and tissue lysates.

CXCR2 is a research target in inflammatory signaling, tumor angiogenesis, leukocyte recruitment, neutrophil biology, and receptor internalization/downregulation studies. The antibody is purified from rabbit serum, formatted as a polyclonal IgG, and characterized for reactivity with human CXCR2. On Western blot membranes, the receptor resolves near its predicted molecular weight of approximately 40-41 kDa, which makes the reagent useful for comparing expression across stimulated versus untreated samples, or between wild-type and knockdown backgrounds.

For best signal-to-noise, incubate the primary antibody on blocked membranes overnight at 4 °C, then detect with an HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibody. The vial should be stored refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use; for longer-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Intended for research use only.
