Raised in rabbit against the atypical chemokine receptor CXCR-7 (also called ACKR3 or RDC1), this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of antiserum in a single vial. CXCR-7 is a G-protein coupled receptor that scavenges and signals through the chemokines CXCL11 and CXCL12/SDF-1, with established roles in cardiac valve formation, neural crest migration, angiogenesis, and tumor cell survival. The antibody has been validated for western blot, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows, and cross-reacts with samples from human, mouse, rat, and monkey origins. The polyclonal host response provides coverage across multiple epitopes of the receptor, enabling detection of endogenous CXCR-7 in transfected cells, primary cell culture, and tissue lysates from disease models. Supplied unconjugated, the reagent pairs with fluorescent or enzymatic secondary antibodies for imaging or chromogenic readouts, supporting investigations of chemokine signaling, receptor internalization, and the non-classical signaling functions attributed to ACKR3 in developmental and cancer biology research.
