This unconjugated Rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com detects human CXCL1, a pro-inflammatory chemokine also known as GROα, MGSA-α, or NAP-3 that drives neutrophil chemotaxis, angiogenesis, and tumor microenvironment signaling. The 100 µl vial is validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, supporting detection of endogenous CXCL1 protein in cell lysates and tissue sections. CXCL1 is secreted in response to inflammatory stimuli and signals through the CXCR2 receptor, making it a relevant marker in studies of acute inflammation, wound healing, and several solid tumor types where elevated expression correlates with disease progression.

Produced as a polyclonal antibody and provided unconjugated, the reagent pairs readily with user-selected secondary detection chemistry for either chromogenic or fluorescence-based workflows. The vial should be refrigerated upon arrival; for long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C to preserve activity and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Researchers investigating chemokine signaling, tumor–stroma interactions, or neutrophil recruitment can use this antibody to localize CXCL1 expression in formalin-fixed tissue sections by IHC and to confirm protein levels by WB.
