Anti-CXADR Antibody

Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against the Coxsackie Adenovirus Receptor, also known as hCAR or CXADR. The antibody is of the IgG isotype, supplied unconjugated in liquid form, and is validated for Western Blot (WB) applications. It reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, consistent with the manufacturer's specification.

The immunogen used is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 20–237 of human CAR/CXADR (NP_001329.1). The product is purified by affinity purification and is supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The expected molecular weight of the target protein is 50 kDa, and the concentration is reported as lot specific.

The antibody is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. The recommended working dilution range for Western Blot is 1:500–1:1,000.
