The CUX1 (Cut Like Homeodomain 1) protein is a homeodomain transcription factor that regulates cell cycle progression, DNA damage response, and neuronal differentiation. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes CUX1 and has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and ELISA applications in human and mouse specimens.

The reagent is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated polyclonal antiserum raised in rabbit, enabling detection of full-length and processed CUX1 isoforms. For long-term storage, aliquot the antibody and freeze at -20°C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. The product is intended for research use only.

CUX1 functions as a transcriptional repressor and activator through its multiple DNA-binding domains. Loss-of-function studies have linked CUX1 haploinsufficiency to multiple myeloma and pediatric B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia, where it acts as a tumor suppressor. The protein also regulates alternative mRNA splicing, dendritic arborization of cortical neurons, and expression of genes involved in DNA replication stress. Investigators studying these pathways use CUX1 antibodies to monitor expression, isoform usage, and subcellular localization in fixed cells and tissue sections.
