CUL4A is a scaffold subunit of the CRL4 E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, where it organizes substrate recognition modules that direct protein degradation and chromatin-associated remodeling. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent targets CUL4A and is validated by Antibodies.com for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies of nucleotide excision repair, cell cycle checkpoint control, and CRL4-mediated ubiquitination.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of liquid at approximately 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, a buffer combination that permits short-term storage at 4 °C and longer-term freezing of working aliquots to reduce freeze-thaw damage to the polyclonal pool. As a polyclonal reagent, it binds multiple epitopes across CUL4A, which is useful when probing conformational variants, post-translationally modified forms, or splice isoforms, and pairs well with lysate controls from cultured mammalian cells.

Typical use begins with 1–2 µg/ml primary incubation for immunoblotting of whole-cell extracts, adjusted empirically for IHC on formalin-fixed sections. Researchers investigating DNA damage response, ubiquitin-proteasome signaling, and oncogenic CRL4 activity will find this reagent a focused tool for mapping CUL4A expression across model systems.
