CUL2 (Cullin-2) is an ~87 kDa scaffolding subunit of the Cullin-RING family of E3 ubiquitin ligases, best known for assembling the VHL-Elongin B/C complex that targets hydroxylated HIF-1α for proteasomal degradation and underlies the cellular oxygen-sensing axis implicated in renal cell carcinoma and von Hippel-Lindau biology. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot and detects endogenous CUL2 in human and mouse samples across western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. The unconjugated format leaves the antibody open to flexible pairing with fluorescent or chromogenic secondaries on fixed sections, while in vitro lysate work and cell culture models remain accessible for downstream ubiquitin-proteasome pathway studies. To preserve reagent integrity, store the vial at -20 °C in working aliquots and limit freeze-thaw cycling, while brief handling at 4 °C is appropriate for active use. The product is intended for research use only.
