Offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide corresponding to the internal region of human CUG-BP1 (also known as CELF1, CUGBP, BRUNOL2, NAB50, and the 50 kDa nuclear polyadenylated RNA-binding protein), enabling specific detection of endogenous CUG-BP1 levels in a wide range of sample types. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µL liquid at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and is provided unconjugated for maximum flexibility in downstream assay design. Validated applications include ELISA, Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and the reagent has been confirmed to react with human, mouse and rat specimens, supporting cross-species studies on CELF-family RNA-binding proteins, mRNA deadenylation and post-transcriptional regulation. The polyclonal host profile allows recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, which is helpful when probing for the endogenous protein rather than a single tagged construct. For long-term stability, vials should be stored at −20 °C and protected from repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Researchers working on myotonic dystrophy, alternative splicing mechanisms or stress-granule biology will find this CUG-BP1 reagent well suited to standard immunoblotting and tissue-staining protocols, and the small pack size makes it convenient for pilot experiments or low-throughput screening campaigns before scaling to larger antibody formats.
