Anti-CTSC Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against CTSC (Cathepsin C), the lysosomal cysteine protease also known as dipeptidyl peptidase I that activates granule serine proteases in neutrophils, cytotoxic T cells, and mast cells. The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated antiserum in a 100 µl volume, validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human tissue, and is routinely used by laboratories studying neutrophil elastase and cathepsin G activation, inflammasome-linked inflammation, periodontal disease biology, and Papillon-Lefèvre syndrome, the autosomal-recessive disorder caused by loss-of-function variants in the CTSC gene. As a research-use-only reagent, it supports immunoblotting of pro-CTSC processing intermediates and IHC localization of Cathepsin C in inflamed or tumor tissue sections.
