Cathepsin C (CTSC) is a lysosomal cysteine protease, also known as dipeptidyl peptidase I, that activates granule-associated serine proteases in neutrophils, cytotoxic T lymphocytes, and natural killer cells. Mutations in the CTSC gene are linked to Papillon-Lefèvre syndrome and Haim-Munk syndrome, which feature early-onset periodontitis and palmoplantar hyperkeratosis.
This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against CTSC and validated for western blot detection across human, mouse, and rat samples. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2, in a 100 µl vial, supporting research into lysosomal protease biology, neutrophil granule function, inflammatory signaling, and cathepsin-related disease models.
