Anti-CTSB Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets Cathepsin B (CTSB) and is supplied unconjugated. Raised in rabbit with an IgG isotype, it is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 18–339 of human Cathepsin B (NP_680093.1).

The antibody is affinity purified and provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. Reported molecular weights are 24 kDa, 27 kDa, and 44 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for western blot and 1:50–1:200 for IHC and ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
