CTRL (chymotrypsin-like elastase family member 1) is a calcium-dependent serine protease expressed predominantly in the exocrine pancreas, where it participates in the activation and degradation of pancreatic zymogens during the digestive cascade. Also known as chymotrypsinogen C, CTRL helps regulate trypsin activity and has been investigated in models of pancreatic injury and inflammation. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against CTRL and validated for Western blot detection in mouse samples. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal IgG, offering flexibility for standard immunoblotting protocols and downstream chemiluminescent or colorimetric readouts. Intended for research use only, it supports studies in pancreatic biology, protease signaling, and metabolic regulation.
