Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets Catenin beta-like 1 (CTNNBL1), a nuclear protein best known for its role as a component of the spliceosome C complex and as an interaction partner of activation-induced cytidine deaminase (AID) in immunoglobulin diversification. The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples.

CTNNBL1 is a ~63 kDa nuclear protein that localizes diffusely throughout the nucleoplasm and associates with the CDC5L complex, where it contributes to pre-mRNA splicing fidelity. Its binding to AID has made the protein a focus of studies of somatic hypermutation and class-switch recombination in B cells. Researchers probing these mechanisms commonly deploy this reagent to detect endogenous CTNNBL1 by Western blot of whole-cell lysates, to map its sub-nuclear distribution by immunofluorescence, or to localize it in fixed tissue sections by immunohistochemistry.

For routine use, keep refrigerated; for longer storage, aliquot and freeze to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol-containing solution. The reagent is for research use only and supports laboratories studying RNA splicing, immunoglobulin gene maturation, or the broader biology of the armadillo-repeat family of nuclear proteins. Each lot is affinity-purified and quality-controlled by Antibodies.com to deliver reproducible detection of CTNNBL1 across the validated species.
