The polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets CTNNB1 (β-catenin), an ~88 kDa dual-function protein that links cadherins to the actin cytoskeleton at adherens junctions and acts as a transcriptional co-activator in the canonical Wnt signaling pathway inside the nucleus. Because β-catenin sits at the crossroads of cell adhesion and developmental signaling, this reagent is used to probe epithelial-mesenchymal transition, intestinal stem-cell maintenance, and oncogenic activation of Wnt target genes such as c-Myc and cyclin D1.

Raised in rabbit, the IgG preparation is supplied unconjugated at 50 µl per vial, leaving the choice of reporter (HRP, biotin, Alexa Fluor, or other dyes) entirely in the researcher's hands.
