Anti-CTGF Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Anti-CTGF reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a synthetic peptide of human CTGF (connective tissue growth factor) and affinity-purified using the immunogen. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is validated for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry applications, and it reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, allowing cross-species work in basic and translational studies of fibrosis, wound repair, and extracellular matrix biology. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of total CTGF protein, and the polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the target. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored long-term at -20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
