This Antibodies.com reagent is a rat IgG2a monoclonal antibody that recognizes CCCTC-binding factor (CTCF), a highly conserved 11-zinc-finger nuclear phosphoprotein that organizes topologically associating domains and anchors chromatin loops across vertebrate genomes. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 100 µg in liquid format and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence on mouse samples, supporting studies of insulator function, imprinting control, X-inactivation and enhancer-promoter contact mapping. Clone KT71 gives laboratories a reproducible option for profiling CTCF occupancy and 3D chromatin architecture in murine cell lines and primary tissue.
