C-terminal binding protein 1 (CTBP1) is a transcriptional co-repressor that connects chromatin-modifying complexes to the Wnt/β-catenin pathway and to epithelial-mesenchymal transition. The polyclonal antibody supplied by Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against full-length human CTBP1 and is provided unconjugated in a 100 µl vial. It is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence on human cells and tissues, detecting the endogenous protein at its expected molecular weight in whole-cell lysates and showing clear nuclear or cytoplasmic staining in IF preparations. Researchers use this reagent to study tumor suppressor networks, Notch- and Wnt-driven transcription, differentiation programs, and viral-host interactions involving CtBP family proteins. For best results, aliquot the antibody upon arrival into smaller working volumes and store at -20 °C in a frost-free freezer; avoid more than three freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity. The product is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
