Raised in rabbit against CT47, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody is offered by Antibodies.com as a research-grade reagent for the detection of endogenous cancer/testis antigen 47 in human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody is supplied at a working concentration of 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2 to 7.4, and is shipped in a 50 µl vial. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen affinity chromatography and reaches approximately 95% purity by SDS-PAGE, with the antigen band detected at roughly 30 kDa in Western blot. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues within the human CT47 protein, and the reagent cross-reacts across multiple species, covering the full panel of cancer/testis antigen 47 family members including CT47A1 through CT47A12. Applications are limited to Western blot (WB), where typical published dilutions fall between 1:500 and 1:1000. Clonality is polyclonal, the host species is rabbit, and the isotype is IgG; the conjugate is unconjugated, leaving it compatible with standard anti-rabbit IgG secondary detection reagents such as HRP, AP, or biotin. For long-term storage, the antibody should be kept refrigerated at 2–8 °C for short-term use, or aliquoted and frozen at –20 °C in single-use volumes to minimise freeze-thaw cycles and preserve activity. The product is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
