Anti-CST3 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody recognising Cystatin C (CST3) is offered through Antibodies.com. The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit, is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. Immunisation was performed using a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–146 of human Cystatin C (UniProt P01034), and the antibody has been affinity-purified. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 15 kDa. The antibody is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB and 1:10–1:100 for ICC/IF. It is shipped at 4 °C and, on arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
