Anti-CST2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and targets Cystatin-2 (CST2), a secreted cysteine protease inhibitor also known by the synonyms Cystatin-S5 and Cystatin-SA. The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated, affinity-purified IgG preparation at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It is validated primarily for Western blotting (WB) to detect endogenous levels of total CST2 in human and mouse samples, and supporting immunofluorescence (IF) data have been generated on HeLa cells with DAPI nuclear counterstaining. The immunogen is a recombinant human CST2 protein, ensuring specificity for the native target. For stability, the product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Suitable secondary antibodies — including AP, biotin, FITC, and HRP conjugates of goat anti-rabbit IgG — are listed for downstream detection.
