CSRP1 (Cysteine and Glycine Rich Protein 1) is a cytoskeletal LIM-domain protein implicated in smooth muscle differentiation, actin bundling, and cell-cell adhesion. The Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody targets CSRP1 and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and RNA immunoprecipitation workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and ships as a 100 µl vial for immunodetection experiments. The polyclonal format enables recognition of multiple epitopes on CSRP1, an advantage when probing denatured lysates by Western blot or native complexes in IP and RIP experiments.

For Western blot, the antibody can detect endogenous CSRP1 in whole-cell or tissue lysates. Immunohistochemistry supports visualization of CSRP1 distribution in fixed tissue sections, while immunoprecipitation and RNA immunoprecipitation enable study of protein-protein and protein-RNA interactions relevant to ongoing work on transcriptional regulation and smooth muscle gene expression programs.

For handling, store the vial at -20 °C and aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles; protect from light when not in use. For research use only.
