The CSF2RA protein is the alpha chain of the granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor receptor, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on myeloid lineage cells including monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, eosinophils, and dendritic cells. When paired with the common beta subunit (CSF2RB), it forms the high-affinity receptor for GM-CSF and signals through JAK2/STAT5 to control myeloid cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, in a 100 µl vial.

The antibody is validated for western blot and has been tested for reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples. Common research applications include investigation of pulmonary alveolar proteinosis, inflammatory signaling pathways, hematopoiesis, GM-CSF-driven immune cell maturation, and receptor expression profiling in myeloid leukemia models. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes along the CSF2RA protein, supporting consistent band detection across varied experimental conditions.

For handling, store refrigerated and protect from light. For long-term storage beyond several weeks, aliquot the antibody and freeze at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge briefly before use to recover the full volume, and dispose of waste according to sodium azide safety guidelines. Each 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml provides ample material for multiple western blot membranes.
