The CSF2 cytokine, also called granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), orchestrates the survival, proliferation, and functional maturation of myeloid progenitors, dendritic cells, and mature granulocyte-macrophage populations. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against CSF2 and is validated for western blot detection of the endogenous protein in lysates from human, mouse, and rat origin, supporting cross-species studies of inflammatory signaling, tumor microenvironment biology, and myeloid lineage commitment.

Supplied as 100 µl of antibody at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approx. pH 7.2, this vial is delivered in a liquid format that can be diluted directly into standard blocking buffers for immunoblotting workflows. Keep refrigerated in the dark for short-term use; aliquot and freeze for longer storage to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles, since sodium azide is included as a preservative and the conjugate is unconjugated, leaving labeling chemistry to the end user.

Suggested starting dilutions for western blot generally fall between 1:500 and 1:2000 depending on antigen abundance, paired with HRP-conjugated secondary reagents raised against the rabbit host. The reactivity profile across human, mouse, and rat samples makes this reagent useful for parallel comparison in cytokine storm models, vaccine adjuvant studies, leukemia cell line panels, and investigations of myeloid-derived suppressor cell populations in cancer immunology. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
