Anti-CRYGD Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is designed to detect the gamma-crystallin D (CRYGD) protein in research samples. Supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL, the antibody was raised against a recombinant human CRYGD immunogen and affinity-purified to recognise endogenous levels of the total CRYGD target. It is unconjugated and is provided in a phosphate-buffered saline formulation (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺. The reagent is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows and has been tested for reactivity with human, mouse and rat specimens, making it useful for cross-species expression studies of lens crystallins. As a polyclonal host-rabbit antibody, it offers broad epitope coverage of CRYGD (also known as CRYG4, Gamma-crystallin 4 or Gamma-D-crystallin) for both denaturing and tissue-based applications. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
