Anti-CRY2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the circadian photoreceptor CRY2, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com binds the full-length Cryptochrome 2 protein, a core component of the mammalian molecular clock. CRY2 partners with PER1, PER2, and PER3 in the negative limb of the BMAL1–CLOCK transcription–translation feedback loop, suppressing clock-gene expression in the nucleus and contributing to light-driven entrainment. The antibody cross-reacts with both human and mouse orthologues, enabling comparative circadian work across species.

Validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, the reagent ships in a 200 µl liquid aliquot sized for routine bench use. Aliquot upon receipt to limit freeze–thaw cycles and store frozen at –20 °C in working volumes; brief refrigeration at 4 °C is acceptable for short-term use over several weeks.
