Anti-CRTAP Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets CRTAP (cartilage-associated protein) and is supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation. It is validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry, with reactivity confirmed in human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 20–240 of human CRTAP (NP_006362.1). The reagent is provided in liquid form (reported molecular weight 47 kDa) in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and undergoes affinity purification. It is shipped at 4°C and upon delivery should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Recommended dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for Western blot and 1:50–1:200 for immunohistochemistry.

The target protein localises to intermediate filaments, actin filaments and the cytosol, with predicted secretion to blood, and shows low tissue specificity.
