Anti-CRP Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com and supplied through their authorized distributor AFMS, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against C-reactive protein (CRP). It is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot formulated at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, and the preparation is unconjugated, making it suitable for use with standard secondary antibody detection chemistries. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal (IgG isotype), with the immunogen being recombinant full-length human CRP used in affinity-chromatography purification to a purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) applications and is reported to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, detecting endogenous CRP at the expected molecular weight of ~25 kDa. The recommended long-term storage is at -20 °C, with short-term storage acceptable at 4 °C, and the product is intended for research use only.
