The CREBZF protein (also known as ZIF or SMILE) is a basic leucine zipper (bZIP) transcription factor that modulates host gene expression, ER stress signaling, and herpesvirus replication. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against CREBZF and recognizes an epitope conserved in human and murine orthologues, supporting detection in both species.
Provided as 100 µl of liquid antiserum aliquoted from a polyclonal bleed, the antibody is supplied unconjugated for compatibility with diverse secondary reporters and fluorophores. Recommended applications include Western blot analysis of cell lysates and immunofluorescence imaging of fixed cells and tissue sections, where the rabbit host enables pairing with anti-rabbit IgG conjugates in standard indirect detection workflows.
For best results, prepare samples in standard RIPA or NP-40 lysis buffer for immunoblot work and fix in 4% paraformaldehyde for imaging. Aliquot upon receipt and store refrigerated; protect from light when working with downstream fluorescent secondary reagents. Research use only.
