This affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes CREB3L2, the ER-membrane-anchored transcription factor also called BBF2H7. CREB3L2 is a bZIP protein that undergoes regulated intramembrane proteolysis in response to ER stress, releasing an N-terminal fragment that translocates to the nucleus and drives transcription of genes involved in collagen secretion, chondrocyte differentiation, and cartilage matrix assembly. Supplied as 200 µl of unconjugated antibody in a single vial, the reagent is validated for Western blot detection of the endogenous human, mouse, and rat protein (≈57 kDa calculated mass) in whole-cell and tissue lysates. Typical WB working dilutions fall in the 1:500 to 1:1000 range, and the antibody is used to investigate fibromyxoid sarcoma biology and the contribution of the unfolded protein response to connective tissue development. Aliquot on arrival and store at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity.
