The B4A12 mouse monoclonal IgG1 clone from Antibodies.com detects the phosphorylated Ser383 residue on human CREB, a transcription factor that mediates cAMP-driven gene expression through binding to cAMP response elements. Supplied unconjugated and lyophilised at 100 µg per vial, the antibody binds the phospho-Ser383 epitope on the leucine-zipper protein that regulates programmes implicated in neuronal plasticity, metabolic homeostasis and hormonal responses.

Validated in ELISA against human samples, the reagent supports quantitative detection of phosphorylated CREB in research workflows using prepared cell lysates or tissue extracts. The IgG1 isotype permits flexible pairing with secondary antibodies, and the unconjugated format allows direct conjugation with fluorophores, biotin or enzymes to suit a particular assay design.

Reconstitute the lyophilised product in sterile distilled water or appropriate buffer before use. Refrigerate the lyophilised vial in the dark; after reconstitution, aliquot and freeze at -20 degrees C and protect from light to preserve binding activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge briefly before opening to collect material at the base of the vial. For research use only.
