A phospho-specific mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, clone A3A4, raised against human CREB when phosphorylated at serine 133. This site sits in the kinase-inducible domain of CREB, and its modification by PKA and related kinases is a key step in cAMP-driven gene transcription, coupling upstream receptor signalling to nuclear transcriptional output.

Supplied as a 100 µg lyophilised vial of unconjugated IgG1, the reagent is intended for ELISA workflows. Lyophilised aliquots are typically reconstituted in PBS or similar aqueous buffer before further dilution into assay diluent. Because the antibody recognises only the phosphorylated form, it can be combined with cell stimulation treatments such as forskolin or dibutyryl-cAMP to track pathway activation over time.

Clone A3A4 is reactive with human CREB, and its phospho-Ser133 specificity makes it useful for distinguishing transcriptionally engaged CREB from the latent, unphosphorylated pool in lysate-based signalling studies.
