Anti-CREB (phospho-S129) Antibody

A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit, targets the CREB transcription factor specifically at the phosphorylated Serine 129 residue. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human CREB around the Ser129 phosphorylation site, and the reagent detects endogenous CREB-1 only when phosphorylated at Ser129. Listed applications are WB, IHC and IF, with reactivity reported against Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2. The expected molecular weight is ~38 kDa, and the product is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using the epitope-specific immunogen, with reported purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
