Anti-CREB Antibody

This recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody targets CREB (cAMP response element-binding protein), a ubiquitously expressed transcription factor encoded by the CREB1 gene. As a member of the basic leucine zipper (bZIP) family, CREB binds the palindromic CRE (TGACGTCA) promoter element and drives cAMP-dependent transcriptional programs central to neuronal plasticity, learning, memory consolidation, and hepatic gluconeogenesis.

Offered by Antibodies.com in an unconjugated format, the reagent is supplied as a 50 µL liquid stock in 1× TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA and 40% glycerol as stabilizers, preserved with 0.05% sodium azide. The recombinant production approach supports lot-to-lot consistency and reproducible detection of endogenous CREB in immunoprecipitation (IP), western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and flow cytometry (FC) workflows.
