CPQ (Carboxypeptidase Q) is a zinc-dependent metallo-carboxypeptidase that localizes to the lysosomal compartment and cleaves acidic amino acid residues from the C-terminus of peptide substrates. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets CPQ and was raised for use in western blot analysis of mouse samples. The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as a 50 µl volume suitable for multiple immunoblotting experiments.
Validated reactivity with mouse CPQ makes this antibody useful for characterizing endogenous protein expression in tissue lysates and cell-line extracts prepared under standard reducing conditions. Investigators studying lysosomal protease function, peptide processing, and related metabolic pathways apply this reagent to track CPQ levels across experimental mouse models.
