Complexin-2 (CPLX2) is a small cytoplasmic presynaptic protein that regulates SNARE-mediated vesicle fusion and neurotransmitter release, making it a frequent target in neuroscience studies of synaptic transmission and exocytosis. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against CPLX2 and validated for Western blot detection in mouse samples, supplied as a 200µl vial. Researchers investigating synaptic vesicle cycling, neuronal signaling pathways, and presynaptic mechanisms commonly use anti-CPLX2 antibodies to probe for the ~15 kDa protein in brain lysates and neural cell extracts. As an IgG isotype antibody in unconjugated format, it is suited to standard immunoblotting workflows with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents, and the mouse reactivity makes it useful for studies in murine models of synaptic dysfunction, neurodegeneration, and neurotransmitter release disorders.
