Anti-cPLA2 (phospho-S505) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against cPLA2 and specific for the phosphorylated Ser505 site. The antibody is unconjugated and supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human cPLA2 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 505. The reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of cPLA2 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser505. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 100 kDa.
