Anti-CPE Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific immunogen chromatography, this polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against carboxypeptidase E (CPE), with the immunogen being a synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human CPE. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 50 µL liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and ELISA applications, and it has been shown to detect endogenous levels of CPE in samples from human, mouse, and rat origin. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
