Anti-CPE Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent targets Carboxypeptidase E (CPE), also known as CPH, enkephalin convertase, and prohormone-processing carboxypeptidase. It was raised against a recombinant human CPE immunogen and specifically recognises endogenous levels of total CPE protein. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, and is of the IgG isotype. It has been validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded sections (IHC, including rat brain at a 1:200 dilution), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reactivity confirmed across human, mouse, and rat samples. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored long-term at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve performance.
