Carboxypeptidase B1 (CPB1) is a zinc metalloprotease secreted by the pancreas that cleaves C-terminal lysine and arginine residues during protein digestion. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit, isotype IgG, unconjugated, and validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FC) on human samples. Supplied as a 100 µl vial, the antibody supports studies of pancreatic exocrine biology, acute pancreatitis, and CPB1 expression profiling in tumor tissue microarrays. Aliquot upon arrival and store at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles; for short-term use, refrigeration at 4°C is acceptable. Intended for research use only.
