Anti-CP Antibody

A polyclonal rabbit IgG antibody directed against ceruloplasmin, supplied unconjugated by Antibodies.com. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 366–572 of human ceruloplasmin (NP_000087.1), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 119–130 kDa.

The antibody is provided as a liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and has been affinity purified. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
