Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a recombinant human COX4I1 (cytochrome c oxidase subunit 4 isoform 1) immunogen and is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL. The unconjugated antibody is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is shipped at 4°C for long-term storage at −20°C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, and it cross-reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, making it a useful mitochondrial-inner-membrane marker across standard mammalian research models. As an IgG-class polyclonal, the antibody detects endogenous total COX4I1 protein via epitope recognition distributed across the target, which generally gives broader signal coverage than a monoclonal reagent but also requires careful single-band confirmation in WB. Recommended working dilutions should be titrated empirically; typical starting ranges reported for comparable COX4I1 polyclonal antibodies are WB at roughly 1:500–1:2000 and IF at approximately 1:200–1:500, with optimisation dependent on sample type and detection chemistry. The reagent is supplied for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
