Anti-Cot (phospho-T290) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises the Cot protein when phosphorylated at Threonine 290. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a reported purity of > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target has an observed molecular weight of ~ 53 kDa.

Validated applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). The antibody has been used in Western blotting on 293 cells (with UV treatment) and in IHC on brain tissue. It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Cot around the phosphorylation site of Threonine 290, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of Cot only when phosphorylated at Thr290.
