Anti-COT Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets COT, a serine/threonine kinase also known as TPL2 and MAP3K8 that functions as an upstream MAP3K within the MAPK/ERK, JNK, and NF-kB signaling cascades. It is raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum for research use only.

Validated applications include Western Blot (WB) for detection of endogenous COT in cell and tissue lysates, and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for localization studies on fixed sections. Reactivity with human COT makes this reagent suited to investigations of inflammatory signaling, immune cell activation, and tumor biology where this kinase has been implicated in disease mechanisms ranging from autoimmunity to oncogenesis.

The polyclonal format allows recognition of multiple epitopes across the target, and the unconjugated presentation gives laboratories the flexibility to pair it with their own choice of secondary antibody and reporter system, whether HRP, biotin, or fluorophore.
