Anti-Cortactin (phospho-Y421) Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent targeting Cortactin phosphorylated at Tyr421. It is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The antibody specifically recognises endogenous Cortactin only when phosphorylated at Tyr421. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen — a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 360–418 of Human TFDP1 — and the purity is greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein migrates at approximately 85 kDa.
