Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against Cortactin. It is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
The unconjugated antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 382-432 of Human Cortactin, and the specificity of the reagent is described as detecting endogenous levels of Cortactin protein. The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.
Affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE), with an observed molecular weight of ~ 85 kDa.
