Target COPZ1, the zeta-1 subunit of the coatomer (COPI) complex that drives retrograde vesicle trafficking between the Golgi apparatus and the endoplasmic reticulum. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against the human COPZ1 protein and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human and mouse samples. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody suitable for multiple blotting or staining experiments. Store aliquots frozen at -20°C in small working volumes to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light. The COPI coatomer has attracted interest in cancer biology because COPZ1 depletion impairs proliferation and survival of certain tumor cell lines, making this antibody a useful reagent for studying membrane trafficking, Golgi organization, and COPZ1 expression across normal and malignant tissues.
