Anti-COP ζ1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated polyclonal antiserum, this primary antibody recognizes COP ζ1 (coatomer protein complex subunit zeta 1), the zeta subunit of the heptameric COPI coatomer that mediates retrograde vesicle trafficking between the Golgi apparatus and the endoplasmic reticulum. The reagent is provided as 100 µl of liquid in a vial and is validated for western blot detection, immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, and ELISA applications. It has been tested for reactivity against human, mouse, and Rhesus macaque COPZ1 orthologues, supporting translational and comparative cell-biology studies on coatomer function and secretory pathway regulation. For short-term use, store refrigerated at 4 °C; for longer-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
