Anti-COMT Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG primary antibody is raised against COMT. It is unconjugated and supplied as a liquid product. The reagent is recommended for Western blot applications and is reported as validated for immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence use as well.

The antibody reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 28–32 kDa. The immunogen used is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 42–221 of human COMT, identified by the manufacturer as NP_009294.1. Recommended Western blot dilution is 1:500–1:2,000, and the reagent has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum.

According to the manufacturer, the product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
