Anti-COMP Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified against a recombinant human COMP immunogen, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (also known as Thrombospondin-5 or TSP5). It is supplied as an unconjugated reagent at 1.0 mg/mL in the 50 µl format, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The antibody detects endogenous total COMP and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, showing reactivity with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
